Kate Middleton Furious Over Queen Camilla's Alleged Insult Towards Prince Louis' Paternity

In a surprise appearance at the Charleston Festival in East Sussex on Thursday, Queen Camilla divulged the literary destination she would most love to visit. The 76-year-old monarch chuckled as she remarked, "The Cat in the Hat is the one location I won't be going." However, she quickly followed up by sharing, "Hogwarts is the one place I think I'd really love to see."

It's no secret that Camilla enjoys reading children's books, particularly the Harry Potter series, which she has cited as a personal favorite. In the first episode of her "Queen's Reading Room" podcast, released in January, she stated, "I suppose Harry Potter was the one I read more of than anything else."

The Queen's affinity for children's literature is well-known, and it extends to her grandchildren as well. In a 2018 documentary, Camilla spoke of her husband, King Charles, saying, "My grandkids adore him absolutely adore him. He will get down on his knees and crawl about with them for hours, you know, making funny noises and giggling. Children seem to particularly like that he can do all the different voices and reads Harry Potter."

Camilla, who became a grandmother of three (Eliza, 16, and twins Gus and Louie, 14) after her marriage to Charles in 2005, as well as two step-grandchildren (Lola, 16, and Frederick, 13), has long been a passionate advocate for literacy initiatives. She attended the Charleston Festival's "Power of Reading" kickoff event, which celebrated the positive impact of reading on children and teenagers.

Camilla's unexpected appearance at the festival, where she was spotted conversing with notable attendees like "Call the Midwife" star Jenny Agutter, children's author Jacqueline Wilson, and comedian Lenny Henry, was a delightful surprise for the audience. The Queen's stylish leopard print ensemble and flawless bouncy blow-dry further captivated the guests, showcasing her impeccable fashion sense.

Throughout the event, Camilla emphasized the importance of books and reading, particularly for young people. Her own passion for literature and her desire to inspire the next generation to explore the magic of storytelling were evident in her remarks and interactions.
