In the men in skirt arrive? (PHOTO)
In we could start to see men turn in skirts or other types of traditionally feminine clothes. The American stylist Thom Browne has in fact just presented his new spring - summer 2018 collection at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts in Paris which aims to break down the "gender boundaries" even within clothing, making it unlikely to wear male and female clothes regardless of gender.
The inspiring idea of the fashion designer is that male and female are not immutable biological categories as mere socio-cultural constructions from which we would do well to free us, as today's hammering "mantra" gender fluid teaches.
In essence, the men's clothes made by Thom Browne are a hybrid halfway between man and woman, women's clothes redesigned to adapt them to the male tailoring tradition.
The stylist has thus illustrated his project that wants to be a real cultural "manifesto":
«Why not let men wear what is traditionally considered female? On the other hand, we are all born naked, the rest is pure elaboration. Because associating a genre with a specific dress architecture is only a cultural construct. And why not combine female proportions with male tailoring details? ».
Here are 45 outfits, designed halfway between male and female, which have their "highlight" in the dress that closes the show: a double-sided wedding dress, male front and female back, entitled Will you marry me?
Thom Browne's hybrid man / woman collection emblematically reflects today's chaos around traditional sexual categories of male and female generated and fueled by overbearing gender propaganda. The man without identity, brought on the catwalk by Browne, is a walking "dead", emblem of the profound decline of the West, who after having denied his nature, advances dangerously towards his moral and cultural chasm.
