Possible missions: how to find the perfect bra size
Magic formulas aside.
Finding the perfect bra size can be really difficult. The world of underwear is insidious: standard models that mathematically dress too tight / too loose, numbers and letters of which we have never really understood the meaning and orders that would do anything to sell - even let you leave the shop with a product of the size wrong.
How to extricate oneself in this delusion and finally make the search for the right bra a possible, quick and painless mission? The rule would like you naked in front of a mirror, with a meter in your hand to take the measurements of the chest circumference (meter positioned just below the breast: it is used to understand the size of the bra itself) and the circumference of the breast (meter positioned at the nipple height: it is used to understand the cup size). Once you understand these numbers, however, some magic formulas come into play that no girl has time to decipher. As if that were not enough, each brand of bra has its own reference tables, so the calculation could be completely thwarted at the change of brand (and fashionistas are fickle, you know).
That's why we decided not to bore you with the numbers, but to leave you some simple tips to quickly understand what is the most suitable bra size for you!
1. Fasten your bra to the outermost hook. If even without wearing the shoulder straps it does not go down, then it is very likely that it is the right size.
2. Make sure the side band is positioned perpendicular to your back. If it falls diagonally down, it means that you have worn the bra in the wrong world and you have probably taken an extra size.
3. Check that there is no gap between the bra and the sternum. If you notice any difference, it's probably because you got a bra with too small cups.
4. Make sure that the breast does not come out of the cups. But not a little bit, huh? The effect is vulgar, as well as immediately betraying a cup size that is too small compared to yours.
5. Look inside the bra. Is there a gap between him and your breast? If the answer is no, you have probably guessed the cup size. But if there should be even a small space, then you have chosen too large a cup size. Ditto if you seem to have breasts that are too detached from each other, but in this case you'd better check the size of the bra too.
6. Keep this simple rule in mind. If you had to switch to a lower bra size than the one you usually wear, increase the cup size by one and vice versa (if you previously had a 3B, now you will switch to a 2C).
