Tips for knowing your bra size
It's not always easy to know your true bra size, especially since a woman's body can change so much over the course of a lifetime. Pregnancy, losing weight or getting bigger also affects the size of a breast. This is why it is recommended to check from time to time if there is an evolution, especially when you feel discomfort with your bra.

Knowing the right size of your bra means first of all making sure you are comfortable, but also preventing breast cancer. And for those who can or feel it is the best solution, not wearing a bra at all is optimal for the chest.
In the meantime, few women really know what their bra size is, and for this, several solutions are possible: call on a lingerie store, whose specialist sellers can take the measurements and offer you the appropriate bra. Or take your own measurements with a measuring tape, knowing that an equivalence table exists and that you have to take the time to read and understand it.
Step 1: Know your size
To do this, you must place the measuring tape just below the breasts, and go around the bust. The figure indicated does not yet correspond to the size, since it is necessary to add 15 to correspond to the French sizes. So if you do an 80 cm back measurement, you already know that you will have to choose a size 95.
Step 2: know your hat
Again, grab your measuring tape and place it at the nipples. For this measurement, you can rely on the figure indicated, then refer to your back to find out which cap is suitable.
To do this, the magazine Les 3 Suisses has created an equivalence table to better help women know their size, and therefore to better choose a suitable bra:
Cups A, B, C
D, E, F cups
How do you know if the bra is really suitable?
This equivalence table is obviously not an exact science, even if it helps a lot. Indeed each woman has a different morphology, a different shape of breasts, a different natural support. This must also be taken into account in the choice. So, when you try on a bra, make sure of 4 things:
Straps should not tighten
If the shoulder straps are too tight, release them until you feel comfortable. However, if you are comfortable but your breasts are no longer supported by the hat, it is better to leave it.
The separator of the two cups on the chest
The space between the two cups should be applied to the chest. If it takes off, it can mean several things: either it is too tight, or not enough, or it is too big or too small.
The back of the bra must not go up
This is especially the case when you have a heavy chest. If the back goes up, the chest is poorly supported, and falls. In this case it is better to invest in a bra that has a wide back.
Check the space between the skin and the bra
To find out if this bra is really comfortable, neither too wide nor too small, you need to pass 2 fingers, side by side, between the skin and the clip (tightened at the 1st or 2nd notch). As the fabrics relax, it is necessary to plan to have one day to attach it to the 3rd notch.
When you wear bras every day, it's important to be comfortable, to feel good, and to feel like you're not wearing them. If these criteria are not met, these tips should help you.
