Did you know what the inner "pocket" of women's underwear is for?
I do not know if you have ever noticed - although I suppose it is because it is visible to the naked eye - that on the back of women's underwear there is a kind of small pocket, or at least that is what it seems.
Well, this is not intended to hide money or other things, but rather has to do with a reason of hygiene and health, which surely some of you did not know.
So if it is not a pocket, what is it for?
It turns out that it is not a pocket, but a double lining; an additional layer of natural fabric. Since it is not possible to do the two inner seams at the same time, one seam simply does not sew. That is why it appears to be a pocket.
This double lining is essential for the maintenance of intimate hygiene, which is not guaranteed with most modern fabrics such as polyester, fabrics that imitate silk, lace, etc.
Maintaining the health of the mucosa is a delicate matter, since bacteria develop rapidly causing alteration of the vaginal flora. Thus, the double natural fabric lining prevents irritation from friction and natural sweating.
Often, some designs -especially the most sensual ones- do not include this double lining, since they are not supposed to be used for more than a couple of hours.
Now you can explain to all your friends what this "pocket" is for and recommend that they always buy underwear that includes it.
