The worst trends of the last decade
We have made a compilation of the worst trends that we have seen in recent years and that, we hope, will never return to our closets.
The worst trends of our time
Wedge sneakers
We have standardized wearing sneakers with everything, the truth is that it has been a success because, surely, none of us were too excited to have to wear heels every time we wanted to wear a dress. So far, everything ok. But ... was it really necessary to remove the wedge shoes? That fusion between heels and sneakers ... please, never return.
Harem pants
A picture is worth 1000 words. Someone had the wonderful idea of using their own pants to practice yoga to use in our day to day. The worst thing is that our Justin fell into the networks of this trend and with him, all teenagers.
Pen extensions
It was a trend that disappeared very quickly (thank goodness) but not so fast as not to include it in one of the great garbage of the 21st century. Singer Kesha used them in her popular video clip 'Tik Tok' and there were sightings that they were going to become popular. In the end, the waters did not reach the river.
Normcore
It's about that trend of wearing clothes that don't convey anything. We must admit that, among our worst tendencies, this is the one that we dislike the least.
T-shirts honoring the designer
At the end of 2017, we couldn't stop seeing everyone, girls and boys alike, wearing a T-shirt with a red sign or, where appropriate, blue, with the Levi’s brand on it. Not even the best publicist of this well-known jeans firm could ever think that it would take so little investment to promote the brand, everyone was already in charge of getting their logo on the chest.
The cross pendant
One of the great hits. In Spain it was introduced by the soccer player and captain of Real Madrid, Sergio Ramos. As soon as fans noticed the earring on her ear, sales skyrocketed.
Clear plastic shoes
It must be that nobody considered the idea of sweaty feet wrapped in what may look like kitchen film. A bad idea no matter where you look. The Kardashian clan was responsible for creating this trend and even Rihanna herself. Channel was one of the firms that accepted this model and included it in their collections. We still wonder why this aberration.
The C. Tangana look
It is one of the trends that are still in force and also one of the trends that we hope will die in 2019. We want to make it totally clear that wearing an undershirt inside some dress pants IS NOT A GOOD IDEA.
