Harry then proceeded to share the anticipation William and Catherine had for meeting Meghan Markle. "And then William was longing to meet her, and so was Catherine. Being our neighbors, we managed to make that happen a couple of times—well, quite a few times now—and Catherine has been absolutely..." Meghan interjected, "Wonderful." Harry chimed in, "Amazing, as has William as well. And then my father as well."
Continuing with evident enthusiasm, Harry enthused, "A handful of teas and meetings and all sorts of gatherings over at his place as well. So, no, the family together has been absolutely, you know, a solid support. And my grandparents as well have been wonderful throughout this whole process, and they've known for quite some time. The fact that they haven't told anyone is therefore, once more, miraculous. But now the whole family has come together and been a huge amount of support."
However, according to body language expert Judi James, Harry displayed visible confusion in that moment as he tried to conceal underlying tensions within the family. James shared her observations with Express, stating, "Harry performs some fast blinks to suggest a burst of adrenaline, and then he looks down in a cut-off gesture to conceal his eye expression and, therefore, possibly his true feelings."
She went on to say, "His lips clench instead of moving in speech while he stares to his side as though remembering the experience. Harry's 'Ah...' sounds revealing, as if he's unsure of how much to reveal. He gives off an asymmetrical smile that begs for more words."
