During her recent trip to Africa, Meghan Markle opened up about missing
her children. The Duchess of Sussex, who was in Nigeria to celebrate the 10th
anniversary of the Invictus Games with Prince Harry, shared her feelings with
the audience at the Lagos State Government House. She expressed her longing for
Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, saying, "I'm missing my babies."
In a heartfelt address to the crowd, Meghan expressed her sentiments, saying, "It feels appropriate that although, of course, we are missing our children, I'm missing my babies. It feels very fitting to be in the motherland and surrounded by family." Her words conveyed a sense of longing for her children while also acknowledging the significance of being in Nigeria, her ancestral homeland, and being embraced by loved ones.
Following Meghan's admission, Harry also addressed the crowd, referring to them as his "family." He said, "I'll skip the protocol because at this point we're all family. Thank you for welcoming my wife and myself to Nigeria." He added that it was their "first visit" but "certainly" not their last.
