Various royal commentators and historians have speculated about whether Harry will have an opportunity to meet with Princess Kate, who is currently fighting cancer. However, a close friend of William and Kate asserted that both sides now comprehend each other's positions clearly.
The friend stated, "William and Catherine felt completely betrayed by Harry's memoir, 'Spare.' They no longer have any communication with Harry and Meghan, and they certainly won't initiate any contact, especially when Catherine is going through such a vulnerable time."
Another acquaintance shared with The Daily Beast, "To William and Kate, Harry is just another person who sold his story to the papers. A 'get well soon' message is neither here nor there. They have moved on from the whole situation, and it doesn't consume a significant amount of their mental energy anymore. Cancer truly puts things into perspective."
While some media outlets previously suggested that Meghan and Harry privately reached out to Princess Kate following her diagnosis, it appears that no formal meeting is planned. Additionally, it has been reported that King Charles and Prince William are "too busy" to arrange a meeting with Harry due to their demanding schedules as senior members of the royal family.
William continues to respect his father's desire for reconciliation with his son, but his primary focus is safeguarding his own family from stressful situations.
