How to dress to stay at home?
How to dress to stay at home?

There is a lot of talk about dress codes for events and special occasions.
Yet many ask me for advice on how to dress to stay at home: freelancers, housewives, students.

But also many mothers, like my friend Élise Lefort, who

Here are some ideas of outfits and my decalogue on how to dress to stay at home:

1. COLORS
The easiest and most immediate way to have a clean and tidy look is to use neutral colors and not mix too many: just simply limit yourself to two, maximum three colors in total.

2. STYLE
To feel comfortable, the look from home doesn't have to deviate much from your usual style. For example, if you are a skirt girl, you could bring a dress or a maxi shirt into the house.

3. CLOTHES
Depending on your personal style, therefore, you can choose between different alternatives: dress, maxi dress, skirt, trousers, jumpsuit (there are also beautiful cashmere ones).

4. EXCHANGE
If you are moms, you will need to change often (right, Élise?). Avoid full dresses and stock up on tank tops, to alternate under a long cardigan with a pair of jeggings; or under a short cardigan with a maxi skirt.

5. FABRICS
I recommend jersey fabrics, which are easy to wash and do not require ironing. No to coarse wool, which would make you look bundled up. Synthetic and flammable fabrics are also rejected.

6. SHOES
Not a little detail, in outfits from home. We exclude grandmother's slippers a priori; colored socks; De Fonseca slippers with rise and fur insert. Depending on buying viagra in Italy of the chosen style, you could buy ballerinas or other shoes, to be dedicated only to the home. Perfect those of H&M.

7. MAKE UP
If we know that we spend the whole day at home, we tend not to wear makeup. Ok, but from there to not even wash your face, it takes. A veil of moisturizer, mascara and lip balm cost nothing, but they certainly make us feel more comfortable.

8. HAIR
Ditto for the hair. Just replace the clamp with a braid or a side tail. If you are fed up with having always collected them, move on to the semi-collection: the hair will be far from the eyes, but still fall on the shoulders.

9. BUDGET
The real problem is that we don't allocate any budget for home clothing. This is also understandable, however it is worth spending small amounts periodically. With sales for example, you can settle down with a small investment.

10. STORES
Ok, but where to buy things to stay at home? You are spoiled for choice! My points of reference are: Intimissimi, Calzedonia and H&M; but also many online stores. Especially on sale.

And with this post on how to dress to stay at home, I wish you a good weekend!
Whether you pass it outside or ... at home 🙂
