However, he acknowledges that this prospect is swiftly diminishing, as senior members of the royal family are currently in short supply. Quinn stated, "Both Meghan and Harry still hope that at some point they might be asked back to become working royals on their own terms." Nevertheless, palace sources indicate that an invitation for their return is highly unlikely. Harry is aware that a scenario where he remains a part-time working royal, splitting his time between the United States and the UK, will not be sanctioned.
Quinn, drawing from contacts within the palace, emphasized that Meghan and Harry may be deluding themselves if they believe they will be welcomed back in any capacity. The trust between the couple and the royal family has significantly eroded, and Meghan herself is staunchly opposed to the idea. The negative sentiments and strained relationships make it highly improbable for a reunion to occur.
