Concerns Rise Over Meghan Markle's Potential Absence from Invictus Games Anniversary Event

Meghan Markle's Potential Absence from Prince Harry's Invictus Games Raises Concerns. There are expectations that Meghan Markle might not be attending Prince Harry's upcoming Invictus Games event due to ongoing security concerns. As the Duke of Sussex prepares to return to the UK for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, which he founded in 2014, it is likely that his wife will remain behind. Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams shared with The Sun Online that Meghan is still contemplating her return to the UK.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry himself is uncertain about attending and has no plans to bring Meghan or their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. Fitzwilliams acknowledged the prevailing hostility towards Meghan in the UK and mentioned that it was evident from opinion polls. He further added that the media coverage of the Sussexes over the past four years has contributed to a less than favorable perception.

Although it is not confirmed, Fitzwilliams suggested that it is unlikely Meghan will attend the event due to concerns that the hostility towards her would overshadow the purpose and message of the service.  While Meghan's name was included in the guest list for the event, scheduled to take place at St Paul's Cathedral on May 8th, it remains to be seen whether she intends to be present.
