According to a close source familiar with the situation, the initial search for a CEO has not yielded the desired results thus far. Meghan is keen on finding an individual who can effectively lead and manage the brand. In the meantime, there are discussions underway between the Duchess and streaming giant Netflix for a potential partnership involving the brand. Given that Meghan is developing a lifestyle-based show for Netflix, the idea is to create products as spin-offs from the show.
In the event that Meghan is unable to secure a CEO, it is speculated that Netflix would step in and appoint someone themselves if a deal is reached. The source explained that in such a scenario, Netflix would collaborate with Meghan to run the lifestyle business and develop products derived from her show. As part of this arrangement, Netflix would likely bring in their own CEO to oversee operations.
Last month, Meghan soft-launched her brand on Instagram by sharing a grainy video of herself baking in the kitchen of her Montecito mansion. She recently unveiled her first product, a jam, which she sent as gifts to friends Kris Jenner and Abigail Spencer, known for her role as Dana Scott on the TV series Suits.
To be honest I can't imagine anyone wanting to be CEO for a brand of jam, given Meghan's difficult behaviour she displays with people who work for her. She would be very lucky to find anyone willing to take the job on.
ReplyDeleteMaybe she should think of cleaning up her behaviour first?
