Meghan Markle's Decision to Explore Nigerian Roots Instead of Joining Prince Harry for UK Event

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Plan Visit to Nigeria in June. Meghan Markle is facing criticism for choosing to explore her ancestral roots in Nigeria instead of joining Prince Harry for a special Invictus Games anniversary event in the UK. The Duchess of Sussex's decision has sparked controversy, with TV presenter Bev Turner expressing disapproval.

Ingrid Seward, speaking on GB News, shed light on Meghan's trip to Nigeria, suggesting it could be connected to the couple's Netflix projects and speculating that they would likely have a camera crew accompanying them. Turner concurred, suggesting that the visit would likely be accompanied by a Netflix documentary.

According to Seward, Meghan's interest in Nigeria stems from her discovery, through a DNA test, that she has Nigerian heritage, with approximately 43 percent Nigerian ancestry. Host Andrew Pierce jokingly questioned if there was a chance Meghan might decide to stay in Nigeria permanently. Turner agreed and labeled Meghan as the "ultimate narcissist," stating that her actions were predictable given her character.

Seward also shared her insights on Prince Harry's upcoming Invictus Games event, expressing doubt about a joint appearance by Prince William and Prince Harry, but suggesting that King Charles would make an effort to meet with his son during the visit.
