Prince Harry Comforts Orphaned Kids with Diana's Memory

Prince Harry, in a heartfelt gesture of philanthropy, recently wrote a deeply moving letter addressed to orphaned children in the United States. The personal letter, written by the Duke of Sussex for bereaved British forces children on Remembrance Sunday in 2022, touched upon the profound sense of loss and grief that he experienced following the loss of his mother, Princess Diana.

According to The Mirror, Prince Harry began the letter by acknowledging the shared bond between himself and the recipients, stating, "We share a bond... because we share in having lost a parent. I know firsthand the pain and grief that comes with loss... you are not alone."

In his message, Prince Harry expressed empathy and understanding, recognizing that paying tribute to heroes like their own late mothers or fathers might evoke challenging emotions. However, he encouraged the children to find solace and strength in the enduring love their parents had for them, emphasizing that their love continues to live on and shine.

Prince Harry also made a heartfelt suggestion to seek support from an organization called Scotty's Little Soldiers, which is dedicated to assisting children who have lost their parents to war. He shared that one of the ways he has personally coped with his own grief is through community and open conversations, expressing gratitude and relief that the children have amazing people accompanying them on their journey.

"We all know some days are harder than others, but together, those days are made easier," Prince Harry concluded, offering reassurance and solidarity to the young recipients of his letter.
