According to a report from The Mirror, it appears that King Charles is
seeking to reconcile with his estranged son, Prince Harry, as he enters his
"twilight years." The publication states that the monarch has expressed his
desire to spend his remaining years in peace with Harry and his wife, Meghan
Markle. A source close to the situation commented, "Harry has made his choices,
and if he's bringing unnecessary drama, then it's commendable that King Charles
is giving him the space he needs to mature."
An insider revealed, "King Charles simply wants to find peace and tranquility during his twilight years. He wishes to avoid any further arguments." It's worth noting that this news comes after the King canceled a scheduled meeting with Harry during the Duke of Sussex's recent visit to the UK for the 10th anniversary celebration of the Invictus Games.
At the time, a spokesperson for Harry stated, "Unfortunately, it will not be possible due to His Majesty's busy schedule. The Duke understands his father's commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon."
