No cute anniversary Instagram posts featuring throwback wedding pics, no gauzy overproduced trailer for an unearned Netflix documentary, not even a simple "happy anniversary, my love" tweet. Instead, there was eerie silence from the Sussexes as their supposedly fairytale romance continued its descent into international irrelevancy.
What's even more darkly comedic is how Meghan and Harry are transparently trying to spin this lack of attention as some sort of orchestrated snub from the royal family on their actual anniversary. Can you imagine Meghan's dismay as she scrolled through royal social media accounts, expecting tributes to her "benevolent half-pook girl boss majesty," only to find utterly vacant feeds?
And as for Harry, well, he probably just sighed defeatedly and muttered something about invisible internet censors suppressing the truth about their "progressive love story." It's truly dizzying to witness the layers of delusional victimhood at play here.
At this point, it should be abundantly clear that the royal family owes these two ingratiates absolutely nothing. After spending years attacking and defaming them, why would the firm entertain the idea of letting them back into the fold? It's no wonder they were ghosted on their anniversary.
