Ah pantyhose socks, loved or hated in winter, we can't do without them to wear minidresses and skirts, so to avoid finding yourself with unwanted stretch marks on your tights, here are three methods to prevent them from breaking.
Pantyhose are sometimes really unbearable: they pull, go down, but above all .. they stretch and pierce in times when you never want it to happen (like when you have your perfect outfit and you're at an important dinner!). But let's face it in addition to maintaining a sexy aura, pantyhose stockings in winter are the necessary item to wear your favorite clothes and skirts, unless you are a daredevil with a "bare leg" anytime.
Small premise, our advice is always to have a pair of spare tights when you wear them for an evening or an important event, because when it comes to knitted socks the risk of stretch marks is always around the corner. Having said that, are there any little tricks you can put into practice to make your tights last longer, ready to take note (and be surprised)?
The trick of the freezer to prevent tights from breaking
One of the ways to prevent pantyhose from breaking easily is exquisitely home-made and you won't need anything other than your new pair of pantyhose stockings and ... your freezer. Yes, we are talking about freezing pantyhose in the freezer! Do this, put the socks in a bag to freeze food, leave them in the freezer overnight and the next morning let them thaw at room temperature. The cold helps to harden the fibers of the tights, making them more resistant.
Bye bye stretch marks on tights with cheap hairspray makeup
Complementary to the first trick there is a second one to put into practice once you have put on the tights (and after having thawed them, of course!). For this you will need a rather sticky hairspray - indeed the stickier it is, the better - so you can also buy one very cheap at the supermarket. Once you have the tights on, spray the lacquer over the entire surface of the legs to prevent broken and stretched pantyhose stockings.
How to wash tights to avoid holey socks
This more than a make-up is a real method to wash pantyhose stockings in the right way so that the fibers are not damaged. In general, microfibre tights, opaque stockings ranging from 40 deniers upwards and even fishnet stockings, you can put them in the washing machine at 30 °, but with delicate washing. The sheer pantyhose stockings between 8 and 40 denarii are more delicate and it is better to wash them by hand with a mild detergent or with a Marseille soap.
