A school principal in the Black Forest forbids her students to wear hot pants, and a lot of people get upset about them. Months go by. What is happening?
It is highly recommended for every adult to spend a few minutes in the foyer of a school. There you learn a lot about the life of young people in a short time. This is particularly interesting in the foyer of the primary and secondary school in Horb am Neckar; this is the school whose headmistress forbade its pupils to come to class in very short panties called hotpants this summer. Now, in autumn, hot pants are still forbidden at school, and that is by no means irrelevant, because hot pants should also be worn in autumn and winter and also in the next ice age, so you can read in the fashion blogs that are coming, when you google fashion blogs. So what do you learn in the foyer of this school?
Two things. First: Vanilla milk, chocolate milk and strawberry milk each cost forty cents plus a ten cents deposit, country milk costs thirty-five cents plus a ten cents deposit. These are the milk sales prices on the label that sticks to the top of the milk sales table. The table is quite low, just for children. Second: There is a so-called traffic light party, to which everyone from the age of fourteen is invited, in the evening from seven to eleven in the marble factory in Horb. This is on a leaflet from the marble works, this is the local youth house. The term traffic light party comes from the fact that the young people should appear in T-shirts, the colors of which are charged with meaning on the evening in question. Red shirt means: You are taken! Green shirt: You are single! Yellow shirt: It's complicated!
This is the world of the fourteen year olds who go in and out of this school; it hardly differs from the world of other fourteen-year-olds in Germany: drinking milk and going to the traffic light party in the evening, flirting, yellow shirt, it's complicated. What exactly? Probably all of life - you start to suspect that in puberty.
How do I get the most likes on Instagram?
Unfortunately, the certainty is still far. You come straight from childhood, when one of the biggest problems was how to keep male chestnuts for a long time; the parents were responsible for the solution. This option does not apply to puberty. Instead, you have to think about completely new questions; many are about sexuality, and most of them you don't even ask yourself. They come from outside: from friends, from YouTube videos, from magazines. The largest German youth magazine “Bravo”, for example, is currently presenting the following questions on its website, which are supposedly relevant for girls in 2015: Which filter do I get the most likes on Instagram? What does my lipstick color reveal about me? What are the five pimple facts I need to know? What are the ten reasons it's cooler to be single?
The "Bravo" also promises the answers, you have to click for that. Youngsters cannot know that even adults do not know the answers. You're just pretending. So it's actually very complicated. In view of this complexity, the director of the primary and secondary school in Horb set a rule in the summer: Please do not wear hot pants at school. You could think of this as a normal rule, like: Please turn off your cell phones at school. This rule also applies in Horb. Nobody got upset about her. But about the hot pants ban.
