Prince Harry Accused of Intentionally Keeping Archie and Lilibet Away from Royal Family Cousins

Prince Harry has come under scrutiny for his recent visit to the UK, where he did not bring his young children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, to meet the extended British family, including his grandfather, King Charles. Many have expressed disappointment, with King Charles reportedly expressing a desire to meet his grandchildren. Notably, the lack of interaction between Archie, Lilibet, and their younger cousins in Wales has also raised concerns.

Renowned royal photographer, Arthur Edwards, highlighted the missed opportunity, stating to The Sun, "Not only does he deny the king the opportunity to meet his grandchildren, he also denies Archie and Lilibet the opportunity to meet their cousins. Those children are the king's grandchildren, and one is a prince while the other is a princess. There should be more respect in any case, and Harry should make an effort to bring them to meet the king."

It's worth noting that Prince Harry's previous visit to his father was in February, shortly after learning about King Charles' cancer diagnosis. However, the visit was brief. Additionally, there have been reports suggesting that Prince Harry had consumed alcohol before meeting Meghan Markle for the first time in London. Journalist Katie Kurick, in her memoir, shared that Prince Harry had a noticeable smell of cigarettes and alcohol during their meeting. She also mentioned that the Duke of Sussex has been going through a phase of indulgence in alcohol and tobacco.

Prince Harry's recent activities have been the subject of discussion at the Southwest Festival lineup, where he participated in a keynote panel titled "Breaking Barriers: Shaping Narratives - How Women Lead On and Offscreen with Katie." The panel touched upon the dangerous impact of social media, particularly on teenage girls' mental health. While strides have been made in the representation of women in media and entertainment, there is still much work to be done, as emphasized during the festival.
