Meghan Markle Sister Appeals Defamation Dismissal; Seeks Middleton Support

Samantha Markle has taken steps to appeal the dismissal of her defamation case against her sister, Meghan Markle. In her legal battle against the Duchess of Sussex, Samantha is reportedly seeking assistance from Kate Middleton. The news was shared by former GB News broadcaster Dan Wootton, who informed his nearly 550,000 followers on X (formerly known as Twitter) that Samantha Markle has filed for an appeal to reverse the ruling that dismissed her defamation case. 

Wootton also mentioned that Samantha's lawyer plans to request a witness statement from Catherine (Kate Middleton). In a subsequent tweet, Wootton relayed Samantha's message, emphasizing that Catherine's recovery from cancer is of utmost importance. 

Samantha Markle wants everyone to understand that her attorney had already made these legal moves before Catherine's health challenges became public knowledge. Samantha and her legal team are committed to being respectful of Catherine's situation and prioritize her recovery. The original lawsuit was filed by Samantha, alleging that Meghan defamed her during an interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021. Last month, a judge in Tampa, Florida dismissed the case, stating that Samantha had not provided any evidence to support her claim of defamation.
