Tom Bower, a commentator on royal affairs, has voiced his opinions on the matter in an article for the Daily Mail. According to Bower, the Duchess of Sussex had a clear trajectory in mind even before her wedding at St George’s Chapel in 2018.
He noted that there was significant public support for Meghan’s introduction into the British monarchy, viewing her as a glamorous and refreshingly modern addition. However, Bower highlights a discrepancy between public perception and reality, pointing out that the guest list at the wedding was carefully curated and predominantly consisted of Hollywood figures rather than Meghan's close acquaintances.
This strategic move, in Bower's view, marked the initial stages of what he calls "Meghan Inc.," a vision that Meghan has been steadfast in pursuing, much to the apprehension of the Royal Family.
