Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made a quick stop in London before
returning to the US after their visit to Nigeria. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex
had been invited by Nigeria's chief of defence staff and concluded their
three-day tour on Sunday, heading back to California. However, before their
arrival in the US, the Sussexes received news that their Archewell foundation
had been labeled as "delinquent" by the Department of Justice in California due
to pending dues.
According to a report in The Mirror, the foundation was temporarily suspended by the State of California but had its status restored to "current" once the foundation discovered the error and issued another check promptly. In a statement given to the LA Times, the California attorney general confirmed that Archewell is currently in good standing.
This development occurred alongside reports that Harry and Meghan arrived in Los Angeles on Wednesday after a brief stopover in London. During their time in the UK, they did not have any meetings with members of the royal family.
