This sentiment aligns with Harry's previous expressions about how the family's public relations strategies have impacted him and his brother, Prince William, as detailed in his memoir "Spare.""I found myself grappling with complex emotions when it came to accepting a step-parent who, in my perception, had recently used me to further her own public image," he wrote. "Strangely, I even found myself hoping for Camilla's happiness. Maybe if she were content, she wouldn't be as much of a concern?"
In a conversation with ITV's Tom Bradby, Harry disclosed that Camilla had disclosed one of her "discussions with William" to the media. He alleged that the Prince of Wales was deeply upset by rumors suggesting that his father, King Charles, along with Camilla and her public relations advisor, were responsible for leaked stories about his life.
In his book "Spare," Harry recounted, "Father and Camilla's associates had planted a story or multiple stories about him, Kate, and the children, and he had had enough of it. He asserted that once you give Father and Camilla an inch, they take a mile."
