Palace, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle Clash over Meeting Failure with King Charles

The palace finds itself entangled in a fresh royal dispute involving Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Buckingham Palace and the couple are unwilling to accept responsibility for the deepening rift between King Charles and the duke. According to a recent report from The Times, there is a clash between the respective camps regarding the true reason behind their failure to meet the previous week.

The Daily Mail claims that "palace insiders and the Duke's camp are apparently clashing over 'who was avoiding whom'" in this latest behind-the-scenes struggle that has shaken The Firm. To provide some background, the author of "Spare" flew to the UK to attend a service commemorating 10 years of The Invictus Games on the previous Tuesday.

Upon his arrival, Prince Harry, through his spokesperson, released a statement ruling out a meeting with his father, who is battling cancer, citing the latter's busy schedule. Reports also surfaced that the 75-year-old monarch declined an invitation from his son to attend the church service at St Paul's Cathedral.

However, according to sources close to King Charles, not only did he not receive an invitation, he had extended an offer for the Spare author to stay in a royal residence during his visit. On the other hand, individuals within Prince Harry's circle insist that he had requested to see his father weeks before arriving, effectively challenging the palace's explanation of the King's "full diary."

The true nature of these events remains uncertain, and it is difficult to take sides without clarification from either of the official teams involved.
